There are a number of natural disasters that occur around the world such as, earthquakes, erupting volcanoes and Tornadoes. Furthermore, I am going to compare two natural disasters by referring to the given table. Both tornadoes and hurricanes are dangerous and have a massive destructive force but they have some differences regarding their speed, power and the time in advance in which they can be predicted.
First of all Tornadoes differ from Hurricanes by the place they originate from. Tornadoes are triggered on land at first while hurricanes start over warm oceans. The prediction scales used to compare those two are the Saffir- Simpson C1- C5 which measures hurricanes and the Fujita F0 – F5 which measures tornadoes. Hurricanes usually have a range of 300 miles while tornadoes range between 100 to 600 meters and up to 1.5 kilometers. At minimum speed Tornadoes seem to be slower than hurricanes however when referring to the maximum velocity they appear to overcome the hurricanes with a speed of 250 – 300 miles per hour.
Even though hurricanes might seem more dangerous and destructive when looking at their damage scale and duration to me tornadoes are much more dangerous because they can only be detected 20 minutes or less in advance On the other hand hurricanes are predictable 2 or 3 days before they happen and 6-to-10 hours when looking for a more local destination.

Four leading car models' specifications
The following table displays the specifications of four leading car models. The specifications include price, country of origin, Engine and Miles per gallon. I will describe and compare all cars’ specifications with each other.
As shown in the table the Volkswagen Golf is the most expensive among the four models while the rest cost about the same price. It has the biggest engine size but does the least Miles per gallon. Even though the Ford Focus and the Nissan Micra are about the same price as the Toyota Corolla , the Corolla is known as the bestselling car in the history of car models. Looking at the table, both the Corolla and the Nissan Micra originate from Japan while the Ford is American and the VW is German.
Using a simple table to display certain details is sometimes more effective and understandable than using bar graphs or pie charts. In this case the car models’ specifications are displayed well and can be understood well by the observer.

Date producing countries
The bar graph shows the top ten date-producing countries in year 2001. Obviously, some countries like Egypt for example are ahead in this business as shown in the graph.
Egypt with a producing amount of about 1.1 million dates is ahead of the rest of the countries. However Iran and UAE are not that far behind. Iran, the UAE and Saudi Arabia are nearly catching up with Egypt with their production, whilst countries like Libya Oman and Sudan aren’t that much competition. Six countries produced more than a half a million dates in 2001 while the rest ranged between a hundred thousand and four hundred thousand.
A bar graph is a very helpful method to display a variety of variables by comparing their results, in this case their production of dates in this year.
